Industrial Internet development roadmap is clear

Industrial Internet construction roadmap for the next three years is further clarified. In terms of new infrastructure, the Plan proposes that by 2023, in 10 industries to build 30 5G fully connected factories; to build 3 to 5 influential comprehensive industrial Internet platform; basically built the national industrial Internet big data center system, the construction of 20 regional-level sub-centers and 10 industry-level sub-centers.

On the enhancement of technological innovation capacity, the Plan proposes that a number of key technologies in the field of network, identification, platform and other areas to achieve industrialization breakthroughs, industrial chips, industrial software, industrial control systems and other supply capacity has been significantly enhanced. By 2023, industrial 5G chips/modules/gateways, edge computing chips and other basic hardware and software products are basically mature.

The industrial development ecology is further improved. The Plan makes it clear that more than 40 innovative enterprises with main business income exceeding 1 billion yuan will be cultivated and developed, and 1 to 2 influential leading enterprises will be formed. Cultivate five national industrial Internet industry demonstration bases, and promote the modernization of the industrial chain supply chain.

In addition, localities are also speeding up the layout, and in the past month, Chengdu, Nanjing, Xi'an, Dalian and other places have intensively introduced local versions of the action plan for the innovative development of the industrial Internet, and the industrial layout has further accelerated.

In recent years, the development of China's industrial Internet has made rapid progress. According to the data of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, China has built more than 70 industrial Internet platforms with strong industry and regional influence, and the number of connected industrial equipment has reached 40 million units (sets). The construction of cross-field industrial cloud platforms, AI/machine vision industrial applications, industrial solutions and other areas are hot spots for investment and financing in the industry. As of the end of November 2020, China's industrial Internet logo registration has exceeded 8 billion, with an average daily resolution of more than 5 million times, and the results of industrial Internet applications have initially appeared.
